Jason:

On our machine the TCP/IP status page is the 2ND one to print. So you have to load one letter size sheet, let it print, then load another sheet.

The JetDirect box tells the HP488CA to print the status pages. Depending on which model JetDirect box you have, you might have to push differnent buttons. Check your manual for the JetDirect box

These critters usually default to a known IP, which of course I don't remember; but it's pretty easy to find. Google groups and you will find it. If it's been reset this will be the IP.

Jason,
If you are on OS X, use the Network Utility and run a Netstat. It should give you the IP addresses for all nodes on your network. You might have to guess which one is the JetDirect.

If you use terminal then telnet to an IP, a JD will tell you what it is. You might also try setting your mac to an IP of 192.0.0.1, 255.255.255.0, 192.0.0.1 and then telnet to 192.0.0.192. This used to be the default IP from the factory. Once in you can change the IP to what ever. Of course after doing this you have to reset your computer back to normal so you can then telnet back in. If you have them, the docs for the JD may spell out the default IP.

I reset it to factory defaults and it spat out a few sheets with what I wanted.
