Hello
Does anyone of You have minor frustrating problems with DW Classic on the PC platform? I have the following:
1. Can't select items and have to shift to another view and back again, to solve the problem.
2. The tool - to cut out a hole in an element - simply does'nt function and I have to save the file and start up DWC again
3. The scale tool scales up to thousands of times, and the result is, that it can't find the grid again. (it is way far out of the screensize)
4. It is almost impossiple to select elements that lays upon each other, though You try to select from another viewport.
5. Elements are "locked" so You can't choose them.
These are the major problems but very irritating

Hi, Steffen,
Sorry to hear you're having difficulty using DesignWorkshop Classic.
A couple of the things you described sound a bit like issues that sometimes come up with new users, as they get to know DesignWorkshop.
To select objects that are behind or within another object, it's often best to Hide (using the Hide command in the Arrange menu) the object that's in the way, or change your view so that nothing's between you and the object you want to select.
The Rectangular and Poly Opening tools both normally work quite well. We should probably talk with you directly about what's going on there, and also with the Scale command behavior you described. I invite you to contact us at Artifice Support as soon as you can. You can reach us at:
