I apologize in advance if this is a question inappropriate to this forum, but I suspect that readers will know the answer to my question. (I know the pros all use computers now days, but I'm hoping someone will remember.)
I just play around with drafting in my shop and have a very nice older Mutoh drafting machine on a Hamilton table. The problem is that I only have one scale for the machine and would like some others. My question is whether or not scales from different manufacturers will fit on each other's machines, or do I need to make sure to only buy a Mutoh brand? Also are there other sources for the scales?
I appreciate any advice you can give. |

IIRC any drafting machine scales will fit on your Mutoh. Call June at 763 694 5930 if you want to order some, they can get them.
Apologies if that's a faux pas, I have no interest other than I happen to know a place that can get these. You might also try eBay. At the very least she can verify that your model of Mutoh is in fact universal, since it's been about (OH MY GOD!) 20 years since I really knew about these. |

John,
Thanks so much! I talked with June and she confirms that the scales from the different brands are interchangeable.
