Bamboo Kitchen designed by Aldo Landwehr

We're building a similar building for the Heart of School here in Sibang Kaja, Bali Indonesia. This building is the intial design as well as the inspiration for a larger structure containing 4 spirals two on the ends much like the structure shown and two in the center as a double helix intersecting. It will be one of the largest Bamboo structures in the world to date.

Your comments are always appreciated. thx.

PS. In the April addition of Architectural Digest 2008, there is an article of an apartment I designed, built and installed for a client. yahoo!!

It looks soooo nice.
I can feel the close relationship between it and the nature.
It reminds me of one similar project I saw before. That was a project from an Austria architect. She used bamboo and some traditional material to build a elementary school.
