I am from Switzerland, and my desire is studying architecture, but abroad... Indeed, my country is (quite...) boring and the region where I live is not very developped relating to the arts in general. That's why I'm thinking in studying in Canada or in the USA.
I spent hours and hours on Internet, looking for a university or school of art, but there are so many of them that I'm completely lost!!!!
I don't know which points are essential to look at, which school is better, which city is agreable to live in or isn't, etc.
What I would like to study is interior design or green design (I have to say that I prefer green design...)
With these information, can somebody help me, give me some advice? |

Interesting that you think Switzerland is so culturally backward. I always thought it was quite advanced in some places (probably Basel and the cities), with wealthy corporate clients who risk their money on modern design. But I can understand you wanting to have an adventure somewhere else!
To be honest, I've never heard of a first degree in sustainable architecture, Usually an architecture degree will be a general course to give you a good basic understanding of the subject. Students normally make a serious study of sustainable/environmental/green design as a postgraduate subject. |
