Are you referring to the effect of terrain such as valleys, slopes, etc.?
Or vegetation, such as grass and trees?
I remember reading a publication from Oregon State University with information about trees and how those can affect wind.
The article mentioned that trees can affect wind to an elevation of about 10 times their height.
Have you tried specific searches on www.google.com such as:
university, trees, energy
wind, trees, effect
What you are seeking may be found with synonyms for "ventilation" or other terms. _________________ Mario Vaden
