Hi Donald,
The appraised value of the home is approximately 1,200,000. I am the 4th owner of the home. In the 1920's the 2nd owner was the one who made a major change in adding a 4 story addition on the back of the home. They also enlarged the living room substantially. There is original woodwork, moulding, windows, hardware, and flooring throughout. Also original to the home is a magnificent chandelier in the 2 story marble foyer. There are also 2 original ( I believe) footed tubs, both in excellent condition. My renovations included the kitchen, baths, heating, electrical, plumbing, and roofing. The decor and colors are very fitting to the home and are quite livable. The exterior facade (shingle, stone and stucco) have been recently painted. ( I kept with the color scheme that was on the house when I bought it, but believe that somebody could really bring out the architectural features by using other colors). There is interesting wood trim on the house in addition to terra cotta type decoration at the rooflines. All in all, the condition is great and most everybody that visits loves the uniqueness of the house.
I don't own a digital camera as of yet but do appreciate your request for pictures. If this information interests you, I would be happy to set up an appointment for you to see the house. I will be starting to show the house by this coming Tuesday. By the way, the house next door is also a Furness, and people often slow their cars down to stop and look at us both.
Please email me @ JWMAPsy@aol.com with your feedback.
Thank you,
Jeanette
