Hello All,
staff I have the following problem: we own a textile company and as usual use AUtoCad for making drawings. A few months ago we tried (actually our engineers) to install Solid Works. After installation we found that some files (means drawings files) of Autocad did change the extencion .* and is not possible to open it both by AutoCAD or Solid Works. Did any one had something like that? Sorry but I am not so professionla in drawings of 3D and our engineers speak no English. If any one can help me?

Solidworks should open almost 50 other programs' file types. What file type(s) are trying to open?
if you are trying to open Autodesk files with Solidworks program, you shouldnt have any challenges. if the other way around, you may be in trouble.
There may be some settings in the options of SW that may allow you to open these files as well. |
