I think it would be great to have a library manager included in PowerCADD.
Here it is a screenshot i made to show the desktop on 2 screens.
I use DragThing to create a palette of my usefull libraries to open them in just one click in PC. The palette has been set to be visible only in PC.
I think to have this hability directly in PC would be a good feature instead of having to use third party software.

What sort of file are the textures in the texture palette? what happens when you click on them or drag them?

They are pasted PICT images and cab be dragged into PowerCadd unlike other softwares  . If you click on them, by defaut they will be open in the defaut document, like you used the import command. You can also put PowerCadd objects but the scale will be the one they have been pasted with.
Here is an exemple of PC objects pasted in DragThing, they dong look well because converted as bitmap, but, if you move them into a PowerCadd document they in fact still have they PC properties and are still vector objects fully editable with their original attributes because DragThink paste inside its palettes the Clipboard as it is.
But just to say, PC should include such a function directly, because the library window is crappy, and the Objects palette is not convenient since you can't resize it as you want, only vertical or horizontal ways ... |
