I don't use the Tool Bar, since I have what I use in key commands. I don't understand the need for this feature when you have command keys, but I guess there was a demand for it. And I know that you can click on the upper right button to get it to disappear.
My problem is that I like to maximize the file window size to the available screen space, but when a file opens with the Tool Bar showing, the window is sized to the space available with the Tool Bar. When I turn off the Tool Bar, the file window is reduced by the space not needed for the Tool Bar. I then have to manually resize the window to use the lost space.
When closing the Tool Bar, I don't understand why the program reduces the window, rather than giving you back in drawing space what the Tool Bar was taking up.
Failing that, is there a way to have the program default to no Tool Bar and let you open it if you want it, rather than the other way around? _________________ Mac Pro, 9 Gig RAM,

...also, you might investigate purchasing a larger monitor. If screen real estate has as high a value to you as you say, then you will certainly find the cost of additional territory acceptable. _________________ I love PowerCADD |

also, if you don't use the toolbar, does that mean you don't use Nudge? _________________ I love PowerCADD |

Thanks, Michael, that's exactly what I needed. I did look for the information in the manual, but I looked where they talk about the Tool Bar and there wasn't any reference to how to change the default.
I use the Option+arrows key command combinations to nudge up, down, and to sides. _________________ Mac Pro, 9 Gig RAM,
