Ok... what is that "cheaper then the others"? Lower then 4$ per hour? That guy in first post has stated that they charge 99$ for 3 days of work, and if we consider that one guy will work on that project for 3 days (8h per day), then that's 4$ per hour. What's lower then that?? I know that living standard in china is pretty low, but license for 3D studio max cost same in China and Vietnam then it the rest of the world.
3D studio max costs 3,495.00$, and that's one year license for one PC. If he has 10 guys working, then he probably has 10 workstations, and that's at least 34 000$ per year just for 3D studio max. So just for 3D studio licenses he will have to make 353 project for 99$ in one year (that's one project a day!), just to pay license for one program.
Ad to that wages, office expenses, taxes, workstations, render farms, and you get pretty large sum of money for each year. Ok, wages and taxes are probably pretty low in China and Vietnam, but as I stated, software cost's same everywhere...
I personally spend almoust 10 000$ a year for various software, hardware and other stuff, (ok, I'm a bit techno freak, so I must have latest hardware and software, but a bit more reasonable expenses aren't to far away), and that's just for one workstation.
So how can you have lower prices then the first guy?
Can you make me one example offer? Let's say that I need 3D viz for one house, for example Neo-Mediterranean style (example image: http://kingthorpeestate.co.za.dedi134.cpt2.host-h.net/site/user_data/images/neo_mediterranean_2567002_1.jpg). Let's say that I will knead 6 exterior images, and one of them must be wider view of entire site (60 degrees down view), and 3 interior images; one of living room, one of bedroom, and one of bathroom. Top render quality with GI and ISE lighting. Images have to be in 1600x1200px. What will be your estimated price and completion time for that kind of project? |
