The Position:
This Facilities/Space Planner position is responsible for providing Space Management and CAD/CAFM support to the Information Technology Services Department.

Job Responsibilities:
• Consistently meet deadlines, solve customers' problems, and exceed their expectations by offering exceptional services and products.
• Participation in the development of Building Services specific software tools including CAFM/CAD programs
• Developing building floor plan and space layouts utilizing existing CAD baseline data and redlined floor plans from field and utilizing corporate office space standards
• Understanding all aspects related to internal space planning, move planning and coordination
• Responsibility for monitoring and maintaining CAFM/CAD data integrity and drawing quality
• Providing first tier training and technical support to potential team members as it relates to CAD/CAFM standards and best practices
• Conducting site visits to all client facilities to create and maintain as built drawings and insure compliance with all applicable client requirements
• Assisting in planning, controlling and coordination of space planning and quality control efforts.

Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in architecture, interior design, or planning, or equivalent education and/or experience;
• Three years experience in space planning and design; strong working knowledge of systems furniture including voice/data and electrical requirements
• Be a detail orientated individual proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office applications
• Working knowledge of ARCHIBUS/FM or similar CAFM programs a plus
• General knowledge of Geo-spatial Information Systems
• Ability to utilize mathematics for computations involving analysis and estimates
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license
• Willing to travel on overnight trips
• Excellent customer relations' skills with the ability to function within a corporate environment
• US Citizen.

Has anyone heard of any openings in the Washington DC Hotels?
