Someone found the locking system of his installed laminate floor got loosen. And the joints don’t look beautiful. And he wonders to how to solve the problem.

Our reply:

You need to use some special tools to solve the problem. The ways is as follows:

1. Insert some plastic or wooden spacers between the wall and planks to protect the laminate floor and wall during the maintenance.

2. Get some special pull bar. Use one end of the pull bar to pull the planks. And then tap the other end of pull bar with a hammer to tighten the locking system.

3. Dismantle part of the planks and then tighten the left planks if the installation area is too big. Then reinstall the dismantled planks.
