hello every one. i need some help on the design princples of skyscrapers, i want to desing a luxury hotel going 35 storeies for my final thesis and i need to know the design principles and specifications on how to design a sky scraper and a luxury hotel. directions to books, websites would be very usefull. thanks.

You are a very ambitious person, mixed use skyscrapers and hotels in particular are designed by "teams" of professional consultants in fields as:

building code application, land planning, architecture, structural, electrical, air conditioning engineers, food and beverage experts, hotel managers, interior designers, etc., etc. and money people than are hard to deal with.

I will advise you to lower your ambitions and design a smaller project such as a boutique hotel with all the luxuries that you find in a larger five star facility.

hey the above person is correct bt still..........if u wana take that topic go to google home page an type "structural innovation"get a pdf file of sir William Baker an also this book Design of modern highrise reinforced concrete structures By Hiroyuki Aoyama ,4 this type design principals for high rise buildings.
