Hi guys

I've just graduated high school and have decided to take architecture as my undergrad, and already gotten into a college, it starts in some weeks now.

I've always been quite inclined towards architecture/designing things, on a note i can say that i'm quite creative too ^_^

Thing is i've not got much of guidance for my further pursuing of my dream to be an architect, my family is filled with engineers Very Happy
Also I'm not very much aware of the future prospects and how to go about it, what to give into it and and how to plan my studies.

If you all could help me a little. Thank you Smile

I suggest you visit various websites of the respective schools you are interested in, offering architecture programs. Read through the curriculum, talk to local architects in your area where possible, do some reading by well known architects to get a (rounded) perspective on what the career entails. For good comparison I suggest the following works in no particular order:

Thinking Architecture - Peter Zumthor
Toward A New Architecture - Le Corbusier
Ten Books On Architecture - Vitruvius
Architecture In The Age of Divided Representation - Dalibor Vesely
Invisible Cities - Calvino
Boundaries - Maya Lin

That will keep you busy for a while.
