| I should know this, but have forgotten... how is it that you access tabs in PowerCADD text? Seems like there used to be a little grey box in one corner of the text box... you'd option-click on that, if I recall correctly. |

The text block needs to be made to wrap, oddly by grabbing the selection handle and reducing the width of the block. Then when you edit the text you get the little box. Then you click the little box for the ruler to appear.

Note, you have to select the text tool and click in or select part of (all right edit) the block of text to get the grayed box to appear. And as Peter says then touch the gray corner with the text tool and the header comes into view.
He's right that it is odd that you have to have the text block wrap to be able to access the header. I suppose someone thought that unless you had the text wrapping, the rest of it was pointless, but you could make a case for wanting to set up the limit of the bounding box in the header, even if one wasn't set up on the screen with the mouse.
