Export from PowerCADD
I've read there are a number here who have to send drawings they made in PowerCADD, to those using AutoCAD. I have had to do so myself in the past.
Some here in this forum own AutoCAD.
I wouldn't be surprised to find that upon exporting out of PowerCADD, some open the file in AutoCAD or AutoCAD lite, in order to see how it will look in AutoCAD, before sending it off to the engineer or whomever it is that uses AutoCAD.
I recently made a post titled Cross Application Solution, WITH THE ABOVE IN MIND.
That is, if you have to send a DWG --- from PowerCADD, Parallel's is an approved method of prevuing your exported PowerCADD DWG files using AutoCAD. See, I figure anything that helps a PowerCADD user to interface with others --- is a good thing, and relevant to this forum.
Sorry for not giving a more straightforward explanation. I thought it was pretty obvious when I used the title CROSS APPLICATION SOLUTION and the word INTERFACE within my post, well I thought it obvious that it had to do with exporting out of PowerCADD. I.E. Cross App --- from one app to another ------- from PC to AutoCAD in this case.
Again, here is the article on what software works with AutoCAD, and in turn can possibly help some, in exporting their DWG's out of PowerCADD.
