    |
|
I recently upgraded from PC2000 to PC6, and noticed the following disturbing phenomenon:
- in PC2000, when I would select a text object, it would bring up 6 "edit handles" (top left, center, right, bottom left, center, right). In PC6, I set the highlight color to yellow, and now everything I select turns yellow (as expected), except for text boxes, which show no indication at all of being selected (i.e. no color and no handles). The only way I know it is selected is from the Status box. Of course, without the handles I can't resize the text "bounding box"!
Any ideas on why it does this, or how to rectify it? Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks,
Jason |

| I have noticed that when selecting a body of text that the text itself does not become hightlighted but the handles do become highlighted. If "quick Handles" is selected in the PowerCadd preferences then you only get the four corner handles and not the typical eight handles. I am not sure why you dont get any handles. |
