I know LEED-Homes is fresh out of the box, but does anyone know if it's possibly to certify an already sustainable home after construction is complete? I'm not really familiar with the process and figured I'd check here first...

...and I'm tired of seeing the dario busch headline there for like, ten weeks in a row.

Hey Joel,
I don't know the answer to your question, but I, birgco, am anxious for an R-250 insulated house. All you need to do is belch or pass a little gas and you're good to go for the heating season. Very Happy
and btw, it's fabio.

Joel,
For a question like that I would approach the USGBC and ask them the question. The only think that comes to mind would be trying to get everyone to complete their letter templates after the fact.
Unless the contractor was really good at keeping their paperwork on file for waste divertment, recycled content, regional materials etc.
Did anyone track their IAQ management plan?
Did anyone verify that a soil erosion plan was in place, documented and carried out?
Check the pre requisites.
