I have over 9 years of AutoCAD experience and all of it has been in architectural design, mostly residential. I was recently approached about what my fee would be for drafting interior design. I am not sure what to charge. I have never done an interior plan. The price I have been asked to give is for a small, simple furniture plan on a 1000 sq foot condo. Any suggestions? Do I want to charge by the square foot or the hour or by project?
