Anyone with HP Plotter drivers for OS 10.3, please write me.
I would like to plot from OS 10.3, on HP Plotters (750CPlus) and not using GIMP!!!!!!!
I need a truly fast and trouble free RIP and plotter driver. GIMP is not what I am looking for, it is unsuitable and the output is very very poor.
Anyone who found a source for fast and high quality RIP software, please let me know.
PS. I don't want Classic or OS 9x software, I want strictly OS 10.3 versions.
Thanks! _________________ Julius |

Use HP's classic driver. Put it where it belongs in the System Folder. The setup the printer and point to that driver.
Works fine on our 755cm. As does GIMP, which produces the same high quality.

The original post specified a 750Cplus which does not have the postscript rom and thus has a much more limited set of driver options. (The 7xxCM models have the Postscript Rom.)
The hp site takes you to the 755cm driver. So they assume you've installed the postscript rom. Without it I think GIMP is the only choice unless you want spend a few $100 for PowerRIP (?). |
