I have this setup and no problem.
Have you tried this from several printers? can you describe what you have done to track down and isolate the issue?

I have a cannon i9100 too and it prints hatches fine. so it has to do w/ the epson 3000. it just won' print them. I'm goin going to try settings other than lin art in print set up and see what happens.

As I said, mine works. Same set up.
Suggestion: a new file, with one hatch. See if that works. Then go from there.

| I also have a G5/180 with PC 6.1.1 & OSX 10.3.4 and an Epson 3000 printer that is printing hatches as I type this! I created a new drawing, made a rectangle and filled it with a hatch. It prints just fine here. |

Donald,
I remember seeing a program at VersionTracker called Print Set-up Repair. I don't know anything about it as I haven't used it but it might be worth having a look.
It is shareware by Fixamac Software, here's a link Print Set-up Repair
BTW: they also have a version for OSX 10.2 and earlier called Print Center Repair if anyone else is interested.

Running 6.1.1 on a G4 running 10.2.8.
Just upgraded. Great! A little slow and a bigger problem of not being able to send plots to our HP 455ca. We have an ethernet network with the plotter, G4, new G4 running 10.3.5, Imac DV running 9.0, and a Power Macintosh G3 running 8.6. We used to plot using the iMac as a server running HP455ca RIP software.
I've been able to run a successful test print with the Rip software loaded on the G4. I can print with ease to my networked Brother HL-1670N. I can not plot in classic mode or PCAdd 6.1.1 from the either G4.
Thank heavens I can plot from the G3 running PCadd5 so for now I'm working on the G4s w/6.1.1, saving files as PCadd5 versions, opening these up on the G3 and plotting same as before.
Tried GIMP print vers 4.2.7.
Tried IP but could not get address to match. |
