Hi All,
I need your help, I am doing a "sustainable" design and I DESPERATELY need a software able to generate light and shadow for specific topic day of the year, this software should do also all-weather sky model and sun track during the year.
It should work for all geographic locations (I work in Italy).
I can also buy the program, downloading it!! Of course freeware is always welcome.
THANKS.

Yes, Ecotect would be good. Its default location is Perth, Western Australia (because that is where the developer is from) but can be set to most locations on the globe. It also uses the (free) Radiance software to create realistic views of lighting conditions.
It will also measure heating and acoustics too!
