I hate to bring issue to a situation which I should, in all reality, be able to solve with a quick perusal of the manual, but.........
I can't stand the magnetic window feature, and despite turning it off in preferences; it seems to have latched on like some kind of hydrocephalic pit-bull.
Any remedies, S.V.P.?

The preference setting is 'sticky'
after shutting off the preference, press Command and drag the windows apart |
