INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION No. 1/08 FOR ELABORATION OF AN ARCHITECTURAL URBAN DESIGN FOR THE MEMORIAL HOUSE OF TODOR PROESKI IN KRUSHEVO
1. Procuror of the competition is the Ministry of culture(in the following text:supplier).
2. The final deadline for submitting of the competition’s works is 10.03.2008 till 16 o’clock in the archive of the Ministry of culture, street „Gjuro Gjakovich” No. 61, Skopje.
3. Minimal conditions:
- All interested domestic and foreign legal and physical entities shall have the right to submit offers registered in the field of activities subject to this procurement and also domestic and foreign physical persons – graduated engineers architects.
4. Description of the competition: The participants of the competition should send a conceptual architectural urban design for the Memorial house of Todor Proeski with the following content of the proposals:
- site plan with ground floor design M-1:200,
- characteristic foundations, cross-sections, views M-1:50;
- minimum two sections (2) 1: 50
- all sights 1:50;
- 3D views:
minimum one of the external and one of the internal architectural space
- explanation of the idea, concept / idea analysis;
- essay, textual description of the design with a maximum of 2000 characters;
8. Criteria for selection of best project:
- Complete representation of the program contents
- Technical completeness of the work.
- Functional and space composition as an answer to the contents and the functional requests of the announcer
- Urban design according to the urban conditions established in the Project program.
- Apply of modern architectural expression and materials.
- Feasibility
- Form resulted from the influences of the context.
- Enabling of appropriate access to the building for the disabled persons and persons with special needs for the access as well as in the interior of the building.
- Achieved quality as regards the balance with the ambiance.
- Success in establishing of the relations of the building with the rest of them in the complex Gumenje (the eternal home of Todor Proeski and the historic museum “Makedonium”).
- Originality and innovativeness of the project proposal.
- Type, characteristics and attributes of the applied materials and their durability.
- Economic feasibility of the design and energy efficiency of the construction.
- Seismical stability
9. The Ministry of culture will awarded only one work and two ransoms which will satisfy the propositions of the competition in net amount of:
- First award...................................... 200.000,00 denars
- Two resnsoms...................................30.000,00 denars
11. The necessary documentation for the competition can be obtained in the archive within the Ministry of Culture upon payment of non-refundable means in the amount of 30 EUR without bank provisions (or 1800 denars). The payment should be carried out on the following account:
