Hello,
I would very much appreciate suggestions on what design software you would recommend.
I am going to restore a house and would like to show a current (unrestored house) photo and a proposed (restored final product) photo) for comparison.
My goal is to create a final product/image to be as close to photograph quality as possible. I am hoping the altered image will not only look real, but the restored character - additional shadows created will be visable.
Some of the changes that I would need to show would be:
removal of vinyl siding (this may be a tough one to show ??)
replacement of vinyl windows and flat grid with true divided light and wood mullions
porch railing, doors,
sometimes opening up an enclosed porch
possibly some structural changes
new house color,
new landscaping.
I have some CAD experience, but to my knowledge, I would have to spend many hours to recreate/draw the house from scratch and the final image would look animated. There is probably a way to give it a more photo-like look, but I am hoping there would not be a huge time and learning investment.
I have looked at programs offered by Better Homes & Gardens and Photo-shop but not really sure what would be best or if there are others out there. Just getting confused the more I read. I am therefore posting this dilemma to the pros who understand what I want to do and the best way to do it.
Thanking you in advance!
