I've been looking for a good design forum for awhile. This one looks quite active so I hope to swap design ideas with everyone soon.

I'm a principal of a Vancouver based residential and interior design firm.
We like to take on more interesting and challenging projects than the standard "box". It keeps the mind young if you know what I mean.

Anyways, just wanted to introduce myself and will chat with everyone soon.

Eric

Hi Eric,

Welcome to DC, well I guess it is fairly active as far as forums go. Sometimes homeowners stop by for advice which is usually interesting and in the Architecture and Green Forums we sometimes get into philosophical debates.

Sounds great! I love sharing ideas!

I'm not sure if you're interested, but you should check out the Qualified Interior Designers directory website and consider listing your firm online.

You can take a look at:

If you mean interesting by the way they are rude and call you names cause you asks questions then yes..very interesting. If you mean iinteresting in the fact that no moderators are easily found to do anything about it then also yes. And if you mean interesting in that you have posts deleted and are not notified as to why, well then that too!!

Have fun...

I said hi to the guy and he never responded. I haven't even seen anything you have posted besides these two rather bitter posts.

You should not expected everyone to pat you on the back and make you feel all warm and fuzzy.

Either participate in the discussions or don't. It is your choice. We are all just regular people here. There is no official DC welcoming committee.
