Hi all,
This may have already been discussed, however it has recently come to our attention that with PowerCADD v8 we can no longer select (by highlighting) a portion of a text block and change the font color. Other attributes of the highlighted portion of text can be modified, but not the color. We use this a lot to mark-up drawings, or to call our attention to a portion of a label that still needs to be filled in such as a quantity, size, model number, etc. Has anyone seen this and is there a fix to give us back this functionality?
Aloha,

I don't know if it was intentional for the color attribute to be omitted however you are able to change the text color by opening the text in the Text Edit window.
Do this by selecting the text box and hitting Cmd-E or by the menu item Edit-->Edit...
Hope that helps.

Thank you Derek,
I appreciate your pointing out an alternate way to deal with our ability do edit the text color. I love PowerCADD and have used it for 17-18 years now. I have to say, however that I'm not in love with some of the "improvements" in the latest version. The ability to see what layer your on and to "go to" that layer by hitting a button was a HUGE loss. I hope they E.S. brings that one back soon!
Thanks again,
Leonard |
