* Knowledgeable and current in new trends of planning, sustainable design, technology, and well rounded individual
* Sufficient experience and ability to carry a project from conceptualization to completion of master planning work.
* Strong people and communication skills.
* Excellent presentation skills.
* Ability to work with all levels of employees.
* Some project management skills
Skills:
* Undergraduate and / or Masters degree in Urban Planning or Landscape Architecture
* 5 - 10 years experience in large-scale residential, commercial and Institutional master planning.
* Possess programming skills
* Registered planner or architect
* Proficient computer and communication skills (MicroStation, 3D design, word, power point, excel, hand drawing, and sketching skills)
* International experience (a plus)
* Advanced writing and editing skills.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare / create and develop initial conceptual design(s) for new projects.
* Work closely with firms senior design architects in the development of concept master planning design.
* Mentor junior architects / designers of each project team to develop urban design sensitivity.
* Manage the planning design process on all related design issues of one or a number of large scale, residential, commercial, mixed use and institutional projects.
* Increase the level of awareness for high quality architecture planning within the firm.
* Maintain cost effective operation and projects.
