We are currently seeking Healthcare Planners and Senior Healthcare Planners to work with one of the nations leading architectural firms.
The Positions:
The Healthcare Planners will uncover and analyze volume data, develop program reports, generate concept design options and graphically present those design concept solutions to clients and other team members. These positions will require personable candidates with experience in programming and planning of healthcare facilities, ranging from less complex outpatient clinic environments to more complex inpatient environments including experience with emergency medicine, critical care, operating/interventional suites, diagnostic imaging and nursing environments. The candidates should work well in a design team environment and with senior management.
Healthcare Planner Qualifications:
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong personal management and organizational skills
Ability to interact with senior management, external client organizations and clients
Must be quality minded and self motivated
Must possess a professional degree in Architecture
Minimum of 10-12 years experience in healthcare projects
Minimum of 6-8 years experience in healthcare planning roles
Proficient in Microsoft office suite of programs as well as graphic software for plan, 3D presentation of planning scenarios
Ability to work well under pressure, juggle and prioritize multiple projects and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines
Strong customer service skills
Senior Healthcare Planner Qualifications:
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong personal management and organizational skills
Ability to lead healthcare planning strategy discussions and interact with senior management, external client organizations and clients
Ability to establish planning service delivery protocols and mentor / teach others within the firm in delivering planning services
Must be quality minded and self motivated
Must possess a professional degree in Architecture
Minimum of 15 years experience in healthcare projects
Minimum of 10 years experience in healthcare planning roles
Proficient in Microsoft office suite of programs as well as graphic software for plan, 3D presentation of planning scenarios
Ability to work well under pressure, juggle and prioritize multiple projects and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines
Strong customer service skills
Prior experience working for an Architectural consultant or related firm is required. The candidates should have extremely strong inter-personal skills. Aggressive, client oriented personalities with a desire to lead creative problem solving will succeed in this position. For candidates at a senior level, this position will have the opportunity to lead all aspects of the healthcare planning service for the firm and work side by side with senior leadership in establishing strategy and direction for the healthcare planning service.
