We are modeling an engine block in SDRC IDEAS which is having around 2000 features. For ease of modification and updation we have done it in bushy history using cutters to chop off the base block. The model is complete in all aspects and its updating smoothly without any problems. But when check for material properties it shows an error in the list region saying "surface not formed.or surface not converged with a different surface id". otherwise the part is perfect with volume and area.
Please if anyone can throw some light on this doubt will be of great help for me

i saw the query.Thanks a lot i came to know about this webs site because of you.i registered also
then this probs is solved..one of the fillets was scratching with the surface we deleted and modified (yesterday )so problem is solved...any thanks for the effort...
then nothing much....
i called u on sunady u have gone with ur cousin...then nothing else...then my trip is not yet confirmed...let everything happen thenonly i ll believe this...wat u say.....
