SAVE is an acronym for the promotion of Scientific, Academic, Volunteer and Educational travel. Our program is in the process of planning for and designing a research and academic station near the Caribbean port town of La Ceiba, on the edge of Pico Bonito National Park, a rain forest protected area. Part of the SAVE strategy is to develop strategic partnerships with universities and other prestigious instititutions in order to foster long-term engagement of researchers and academics with Honduras. To this end, we are looking for a university architecture program to help us design our "SAVE Center". We want the center to become an example of ecotourism best practices and design. I would like to ask the members of this forum if you can recommend university architecture programs that might be interested in participating in this project with us, particularly with the goal of establishing a long-term strategic partnership that might involve field study courses hosted at the SAVE Center and other types of educational projects.
