Hello everybody,
I am not yet a student of architecture but I shall be applying to some schools next year.
I am in my early 20's and I would like to practise essay writing.
Could anybody suggest a topic for an architectural essay?
I do not know a lot about architecture, but I'm keen to research.

Do you want to practise essay writing or learn about architecture. It's difficult to practise essay writing without proper feedback. However, if you want to do this I suggest you look for a book called "Academic Writing for Undergraduate Students". Lots of helpful tips there.
As for a topic, that could be anything really. A certain time period, an ancient civilisation, a certain style, the style of a certain architect etc etc.
Just pick whatever interests you.
