the right way is:

You must run the archicad first,
then use archicad save the .PLN file as 3dmax file format file.

This is maybe the only way to convert to 3dmax file format.

if you have the archicad soft then this is a very easy way,


you can have a try in archicad.

remenber you 'd use archicad 8.1 to covert it
