Dear Alfred
Today I inserted some 20 plus garage doors with the door tool and I know the tool always sets the door about 2" ± off the wall. I've always just ungrouped and move the door to the proper location at the wall, however today it was quite the pain. Sometime along the way in one of the updates can you correct the location of the door?
BTW the color change in the last update was exactly what I was looking for now all the doors and windows not only are put on the layer specified but they assume the color of that layer....GREAT JOB If you keep saving me time soon I'll have almost nothing to do....LOL

On "man" doors, I wonder if there would be any interest in an option to have the arc indicating swing extend beyond the slab of the door. For example, if the door is placed 90° open, the arc angle would be 95° or 100°. I think it would help in having the drawings look more hand drawn like. _________________ Ed |

Of course, you can have anything you want if the door tool placed symbols like the native PC door tool, and you create your own symbols. My door symbols, for example, include a non-printing point on center just in case you want to dimension to the centerline of the door. I've also experimented with door symbols that included the jack and king studs in rough framing. That way you can check if the studs fit, or dimention to the rough opening.
