i'm not an expert on which schools accept you on your portfolio, but i would suspect that most of them largely consider it when you're applying. Simply do some research on schools you find appealing your wants and send it. Don't limit yourself to how schools will be accepting. As you said, you spent a great deal of time working on the portfoio, why not send it do an many schools as possible and sit back and let the acceptance letters come in. Good luck with your search

san fran institute of arch?....not a good school at all, doesnt even make the second tier....if you want good schools who weigh a portfolio heavily check out.......RISD (rhode island school of design) harvard gsd, SCI-arch souther claifornia etc...., parsons school of design, princeton, yale...dont just base a school on what theyre going to look at....truthfully most schools care more about the portfolio than anything else (at least the good ones) look more towards what you want to study and what enviroment suits you best....or how much you have to pay.....theyre are alot of good state schools like michigan illinois ucla .Oh by the way san fran institute of arch only requires a 10$ entrance fee...then youre in.....oh but the school doesnt actually exist........

I find it strange that you claim to have a "wonderful portfolio."

sfia is somewhat of a bootleg sci-arch....or even an art school equivalent of devry university....nonetheless it is UNACCREDITED!!!!!! meaning one would never officialy be allowed to call themselves an architect. The interesting thing is that they are "striving" to be accredited when their studios focus on none of the practical issues of architecture (my school doesnt either, but at least we're accredited)..........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................If your portfolio is as "WONDERFUL" as you described it apply to a school that doesnt accept everyone and their mom.....
