To answer your question about the wood beams...
Why purchase wood beams when you can get artificial wood beams. The artificial wood beams today, are far more realistic then the old Styrofoam beams from 30 years ago.
We are a distributor (Barron Designs Inc.). We recently sold artificial wood beams to a local hotel. Everyone was thrilled how realistic looking these artificial wood beams looked. They look exactly like real wood beams. It took only 1 day for them to install the simulated wood ceiling beams.
In the past people used to use real wood beams but it was so expensive. The real wood beams were also very hard to lift up (It can sometimes take 6 men to raise one). This adds a lot of money to the installation costs. With the simulated wood ceiling beams it only took 2 men to lift it up. So I would like to recommend to you using the simulated wood beams. It will save you money and time for the same look.
Call at 800-651-4223 or http://www.wood-beams.net
PS- remember these artificial wood beams are not structural

We used faux wood ceiling beams several times on residential and commercial projects. We love how real these fake wood ceiling beams look. The fake ceiling beams install very easy because of their light weight. It usually takes 2 people to install them. In the past we used real wood beams but they were so heavy and expensive to transport.
We purchase our fake wood beams from Barron Design Inc.
Their web site is http://www.fauxwoodbeams.com/
They have a great selection and were pleased with their service.
PS- They stock a lot of their beams, but sometimes it took 4 weeks to receive. _________________ JANE |

| We bought our faux wood ceiling beams from AZ Faux Beams. You cant beat their great customer service. We faxed them our drawings and they laid the whole project out for us. All of friends ask us how we could afford putting in real beams. We were amazed that no one can tell they are not real. Thanks AZ Faux Beams you guys are the best. This has got to be the weirdest thing yet...someone presents a product in a forum, then logs in as someone else and posts raving reviewe about their product and so on and so forth...
Is the public really that dumb? I'm insulted. Show me the product..don't f*cking beat around the bush people...but then again, it is a FAUX company!! LOL! I wouldn't do business with a company nor recommend this product to my clients if these are the tactics being used to drum up new business. Food for thought to everyone....
