Humanity pleads for Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani of Iran

Postby Ed Ziomek » Mon Sep 06, 2010 10:29 pm

As a member of the human race, I ask the Iranian government to free Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani from her imprisonment.

There is no good reason to have her detained any longer, let alone stoned to death.

I am appalled at this horror she has endured for five years now, and apparently received 99 lashes last week for wrongfully being accused of not wearing a veil, or something.

From Yahoo News and the Associated Press

There is no humanity excuse for this horror.

Prayers for her life and her family. Prayers for a more humane Iranian government.
