Finest Moment of Many Years, President Obama's Speech

Postby Ed Ziomek » Tue Mar 29, 2011 12:00 am

Folks,

I was at a truck stop in Jersey, and a group of us were watching the Obama speech, and there was dead silence.

I think it was the most wonderful explanation of what America is all about, the first in the world to step up, with the French, the Italians, the Spaniards, and many other nations, to stop the genocide that was starting to take place in Lybia, that would have been a bloodbath had Benghazi been over-run.

Gaddafi may survive this latest go-round, and so what! Stopping the killing was goal number one, and that has been accomplished. Not the President's words, but basically "Let the Lybians have self determination" in deciding their future, with as little violence as possible.

Thank you, American Patriot, American hero, but most of all, humanitarian of the world, President Barack Obama.

And thank all the coalition troops, forces, and diplomats like our incredible Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, in making this happen. The dynamic duo.

Gripping inspiration. Thank you.
